Coss, right now we're in Rockport, where the eye of Harvey first made landfall. The destruction here is haunting; there is no water supply or electricity.
The town has been dubbed a "one hundred percent loss." Resources are extremely limited—rescuers slept in the local prison last night. But today, they are back in the trenches, rescuing and caring for confused and frightened animals just as they've been doing around the clock all week long.

This is what our team trains for—carrying out search and rescue efforts in life-threatening conditions—to save animals from the most unfortunate situations.
Your support of our disaster relief work has been truly amazing. The animals, among some of the most vulnerable victims of this dangerous storm, are not forgotten—because of you.
We send our thoughts to all in the region and hope everyone stays safe.

I think rescuing a cat is very much like teaching a fish to swim. Your best efforts will be wasted as soon as you open the door on that cage. These people are just entertaining themselves with a newly created urban sport.
