So for what it's worth I sent an email (Dec 6th 2019) to Elio asking this:

As spot in line holder #16623 I was just wondering if the lights are still on with this project? I still have hope.

And I got this response today January 23rd, 2020:

Still here grinding away Mark. Thanks for checking in!

You should have got a sticker and t-shirt. My t-shirt didn't hold up too good, but the sticker still looks brand new and is being displayed on the outside of my pickup. Tuff sticker.

There, I corrected it for Elio Motors. Because we need to see what's going on with the Eliocoin as it'll be funding Elio Motors. Last update is that they were recoding it and it's to be out at the end of the year. Sounds like they are grinding away at recoding it and they ran into a few issues. Plus they have been doing the pre sale of it for over a year and that's probably just about done.
