Not sure what the issue is though.A Turbo on a high compressions engines can be done WITH CAUTION. Low boost seems to be no problem, along with remapping the ECU.

I have my turbo on a 10.5-1 engine, but with less than 8 psi of boost.

Same engine, but one of these cars is a lemon and one of them can beat a Lamborghini off the line. It all depends on what you do to the motor
