I just made my reservation for an Elio this week. :) I finally made my decision after watching the evolution of the Elio vehicle and its company for well over a year...mainly because my state won't require that pesky motorcycle license to drive it anymore. (Cheers for the "autocycle" designation!)

I agree it will pass but as far as I can tell it hasn't happened yet............... :)

True enough. I guess it is still in house. (A tad different than what Elio posted on their facebook page, "Last week at the Arizona State House of Representatives, the Transportation Committee unanimously approved our bill ".) Passing unanimously thus far though, so I will just keep my fingers crossed it continues to do so...and watch the below link like a hawk. :p

True that the house committee did unanmously pass the bill but it still has to go to
the full house for a final vote in order to pass, the Senate has passed it through. :)

I am just as confused as you are, Zelio. That is why I posted the words, "Correct me if I am wrong". I am sincerely hoping if I misread the document that someone can correct me. Lol!

My understanding is, bills go to the House who sends them to Senate if approved. Senate assigns a committee (typically back in the House) to fine-tune things. Then, the Senate votes on the final result in a majority and minor caucus before finally, if approved, ending up on the governor's desk. This bill seems to have followed all the steps, so.... I hope I am right.

Correct me if I am wrong, but if I am reading the legislative website right...the bill has now passed majority caucus. That means, if the governor doesn't get a wild hair and veto it before Saturday, Arizona will not require an M license for the Elio. :)

I think your right on the money, yea! :)
