General Reservation Questions And Comments

My understanding is that reservations are taken until the first year's production is reserved (40,000). It doesn't matter if your reservation is $100 or $1000. There was some specific talk about getting notified when the first year's production numbers were getting fully reserved with the intent of allowing you to upgrade but I have yet to see anything that requires you to upgrade. I really believe that if you have a reservation that you will have an opportunity to buy the elio in the first year of production.

If this is true, people should at least put in a $100 refundable deposit before reservation list closes. I don't really care if I get the car within the first month of release, as long as it's within the first year.

I'd be more inclined to make a $1K reservation if I get a model toy Elio. I don't care for an Elo T-shirt or bumper sticker, but a toy car would look good on my bookcase.

Come to think of it, one would look good sitting next to my Valkyrie models..but I'd rather have the real thing in the driveway, yesterday !!

Problem is they're still not sure EXACTLY what it will look like as far as I know. And who wants a model of the ALMOST final design.

I'm not sure the final version will be significantly different, other than the arch of the roof line, which probably wouldn't be noticeably different in a 1/16, 1/8 scale model.

That would be nice...but not reason for all in at $1000.00.

I am all in for $100.00 at this time. Before the all in time frame runs out or I get some spare cash, I plan to go up to &1000.00.

Reason, you get $500.00 extra. That will cover either most of sales tax,(I hope either Feds or La. gives some tax break) or some of the options I want.

The tee shirt and sticker...who cares...I put stickers on my metal work bench and tee shirts become rags.

Just to update, I received my t-shirt, bumper sticker, and confirmation letter last week. Today I got an e-mail showing that I am #5039 in line. This is legend...... wait for it....... dary!

Once the external design is finalized they could make public the 3-D printer program on the Elio website so any, or all, of us could download it and make our own model. JMHO

Well I am only at the $100 all in level so far but I am saving to upgrade all the way up. I guess right now if they gave out everyone's number I am around # 24000. I would guess if I upgraded some time soon at the $1000 all in level I could knock that down to maybe #17000. Does that seem about right???
I am going to die until I have a set production number.

All in for $1K on this forum is currently under 6000. I just upgraded to $500 and am now working at saving up to get the last upgrade. My number will be whatever my number will be and I can live with that as long as I get a number. LOL Z
