Those of us who had money down on the Aptera have seen the good, and the very bad, that comes with having more investors come in with their own vision.
The original Aptera was a quirky ride with stiff seats and windows that didn't open. The new leadership that came in was so intent on making the vehicle an "acceptable consumer product" that they forgot they first had to make a product. The goals Elio has set are so lofty, I'd hate to have someone also be telling them the seats aren't good enough, the shape isn't sexy enough, and the windows don't roll down far enough to accommodate a jumbo fry.
That said, I hope Paul is willing to give up some level of control to see this happen.
