I favor neither dogs nor cats. I have approximately 500 gold fish.
(They are in an acrylic tank in my garage, 30" X 30" X 12'.)

Who ever called fish "brain food" is an idiot.
I think they are some of the dumbest creatures in the world.
No wonder they are at the bottom of the food chan.

Is this is your attempt at Asian humor?

I was not a cat lover. Living in the country Mice can not be avoided. They do a lot of damage. One year they eat all the wiring off a new garden tractor.
Daughter's cat moved in while she was off to college. One morning I walked out to garage that darn Cat was on my bike, I was not happy at first. Then on the ground was a Mouse she had killed. Now both Cats we have are allowed to sit on the bikes. Daughter was shocked I embraced the cats.
Good cats work better than traps.

We have four cats, two dogs, and about a dozen egg laying hens. The cats will keep the rodents, and other varmints, under control and the dogs protect all the animals from the occasional coyote or fox wandering though as these are spotted lurking around the area from time to time.

Surprisingly, we don't have any mice here. Maybe that's because of the organic farm behind my house. Plenty of chickens there. My cat probably has the worst hunting instincts on the planet. While we don't get mice, we do get snakes. For the life of me I can't figure out how they get in, but we'll find 1-2 per month in the basement when the weather starts to turn cold. If Trident finds it, she'll poke at it with her paw until it moves and then she runs away!
