These look really good; bacon wrapped crackers.

'ngredients
1 sleeve country club-style crackers
3/4 cup grated Parmesan
1 pound thinly sliced bacon
Directions
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F.

Lay the crackers face up on a large rack over a baking sheet (or broiler pan). Scoop about 1 teaspoon of the grated Parmesan onto each cracker. Cut the package of bacon in half (or cut pieces individually) and carefully, so the cheese doesn't fall off, wrap each cheese covered cracker with one half piece of bacon, completely covering the cracker. It should fit snugly around the cracker, but not be pulled too taut. Place the bacon-wrapped crackers onto the rack. Place the baking sheet in the oven for about 2 hours. Serve immediately or at room temperature!

one can't go wrong with bacon ..:).. as this is being typed we are camping with our camping club .... this morning I cooked both bacon and sausage on our Holland Companion grill .... our first Companion lasted 12 years and traveled with us through all of the lower 48 states .... once our children moved away from home, we use it at home as well .... there aren't many grills capable of cooking bacon and/or sausage directly on the grate .... sorry, got hungry and didn't get a picture of the cooked sausage .. ;)

THEY LITTLE MOULDED ISETTAS & MESSERSCHMITTS CAME FROM THE BRUCE WEINER MICROCAR MUSEUM .
YOU COULD GET THEM FOR 25¢ EACH BUT HE SOLD THE MACHINES THAT MAKE THEM TWO YEARS AGO .

THEY ARE NOT ACTUALLY EDIBLE .
David, I'm like thinking maybe someone gets a little too carried away by some hobbies. I know Elio will have more that than its share obsessing. Heck, we already do. If I hear of someone making elio pancakes, I'm outa here. LOL

Beach Burgers

many years ago when our kid were much younger (as were we

), we developed a vacation place down at Holden's Beach, NC .... one of our favorites to fix became known to us as beach burgers (AKA: stuffed burgers) .... they have been mentioned in a few of our trip threads but until now I hadn't gotten around to posting a separate recipe .... they are simple to fix and give everyone an opportunity to customize their burgers to their own liking .... the concept is simple enough, pat out the burger into a bowl shape leaving a thick portion of meat all around the edges .... chop whatever you want to add to your burger and place it in bowls .... everyone fills their bowl and then uses the additional hamburger around the edges to cover the stuffing .... grill until done which due to the burger's walls being thin doesn't take very long .... you can use whatever items you like, for the ones in the pictures below we used:

cheese, celery, bell pepper, jalapeño pepper, onion, ripe olives, pecans, pimento, and mushrooms

I seasoned mine with TexJoy Steak Seasoning prior to grilling

once they were on the table I covered mine with cheese and mushroom gravy

as usual, really turned out good

we are talking with one of the guys coming down from north of Chicago to camp with us in St Louis in two weeks about giving them a try while we are out there
