c'mon - $49,000 for that Lynx Lean Electric .... that's ridiculous
Yes it is! EV's are expensive. That's 7 Elio's! However, if we had that change laying around in our entertainment budget, probably worth every penny for the sheer fun of the driving experience. I anticipate Elio will be fun too!

They can't sell stock,,Elio is llp/c not public. First they'd have to get someone to take them through an ipo, first a private then public. You can invest just call their number the phone tree will give you the extension..BTW I f they did go public right now their stock would ipo at about a penny a share. Would you sell of 40% of your company at a penny a share?
maybe if I was selling 40 Billion shares...

Snipped: Would you sell of 40$ of your company at a penny a share?

Abosulutely not, but you can believe me, I would be "all in at $1000" if he were to sell at a penny a share right now!

Elio needs and perhaps has venture capital funding to reach production goals which seems so close! Is it speculation that Elio short funded? The average Elio enthusiast can only show their support with a pre-production reservation at levels they can afford and we are doing that. It's otherwise up to the local politicians that want to create jobs and boost their economy and Venture capitalists who just want to make even more money to keep the ball rolling and it is still rolling. IMHO

For some reason I did not see public part. I'm sorry but please do not think I was questioning your intelligence. You are one of few on the site understanding Elio is in Deep Do-Do.

No problem! Way to easy to misread.

I know a small bit of stocks and how IPOs work.

Lets say hypothetically they did go public. Their best way to raise funds would be through a dutch auction style and not the traditional way where an investment bank actually buys the shares and sells them. They make money off the "pop".
