I just realized my map information isn't quite correct in that it still says my original $250 all in instead of my upgrade $1000 all in although it does correctly capture my reservation number :)

I notice the map has become very strongly populated along the whole east coast. IS that because so many showings have been made on that side in the last 6months? Or because baby-boomers are dense there and that group is strongly represented? Your guess.

I'm betting it's simply population density.
Here's the (current) map overlaid with a population density map:

Sure, seems right. But oddly, southern California especially in the SE seems under-represented. That seems odd to me since car culture has always been very strong there. And mass transit has been less exploited compared to the east, IMO. It would be good to see an overlay of the exhibitions that have happened up to now. ( Of course I want to work you to death! It's in my nature :-) )

I'm a bit busy to fuss with this any more - but that heat map is by county (I think) which is not very granular.
Also, I'm not sure how the reservation map is handling overlap E.G. 2 people who give Baltimore as their city would likely display as 1-pin in size.

With the two CA events coming up next, it may be instructive by say 2 weeks after(30 days from now), then see how the map has changed.

But really, the News from TV and AP seems to be a strong effect such that we can't tell about the exhibitions by them selves. However, exhibitions often prompt the local news, anyway.

as an observation, I'm amazed that as of 9/21/14 there is only one person indicated in Raleigh, NC and only one in Fayetteville, NC .... I would have thought there would be many more in each city
