This is the advantage of using off the shelf control systems and involving the suppliers in the design process. All of these communications and interfaces should be well documented and the control systems should be readily available even if the vehicles themselves are not ready yet. There will also be a time period of a few months before production when vehicles will be available for final tweaking of options.Let's carry this a little further, Goofy.
As of yet, there is no Elio test bed for any option. Who, How, When will they test these electronic options to assure that they are compatible with the Elictronics on the base unit??
If they bring only ideas, with no actual testing, whose to say they will work without messing things up.
