Let's carry this a little further, Goofy.
As of yet, there is no Elio test bed for any option. Who, How, When will they test these electronic options to assure that they are compatible with the Elictronics on the base unit??
If they bring only ideas, with no actual testing, whose to say they will work without messing things up.
This is the advantage of using off the shelf control systems and involving the suppliers in the design process. All of these communications and interfaces should be well documented and the control systems should be readily available even if the vehicles themselves are not ready yet. There will also be a time period of a few months before production when vehicles will be available for final tweaking of options.

That blows the $6800.00 price.
If any of you have heard what Paul has said it was he wanted to produce a car around $6800.00 and for the customer not to have to pay for a lot of things they didn't want on a car.
Seems he is putting on some extra's that may be or may not be a chioice for the customer and that jacks up the price.
Wayne, Wayne, Wayne, these are all options, you know things that if you want them you pay for them........

LOL. I know but did you know that when a company spends millions on options and if they don't go over like expected guess where the tap goes, that's right on the cost of the vehicle.
I was just going on what Paul had said about keeping the cost down.

I re-read the Skyzmatic press release -- no mention of Android, only iPhone / iPad. That's nuts! They should definitely have an Android app as well.

Off of Infinite Skyz website:

...scanning, and mobile printing capabilities for total mobile solutions for industry. SkyzBox™ hardware and software interface with iOS, Android, and Microsoft.
