Insurance companies in UK recognise that home builders generally take a great deal of care with self assembly of a kit vehicle. My home built car insurance costs about one third of that of my mass produced car. In UK we are lucky enough to have a government system that allows us to build a vehicle then have it formally tested and approved at approved testing stations. If the vehicle passes the approval, it can be registered and used just like a mass produced, fully type approved vehicle.

for those willing to assemble this themselves that warranty will mean nothing to them. if it breaks they will fis it. after all they put it together.

Yes I would however the price would need a heavy discount. Kit cars are just about worthless on the resale market as are most so called builds no madder how well done.

No "madder" what people think. Kits that are done anywhere close to right are rare and expensive bits.
