Rather than picking nits we should be happy that it is being done well:

from what I've seen posted, the folks here don't question the quality of the testing or that it will be well done .... what they are keenly interested in is how well the motor performs .... I don't know of anyone who wants it to do poorly, rather there is the universal hope that it will excel so that production can get underway ASAP

I would guess that when Paul said November 15th he may well have been referring to the middle of the month. Seeing how this is a new design engine I can understand delays happening and don't have a problem with that. Easier to fix a problem when your not working with a bunch of broken parts.

Wow! I was away for 48 hours... This is a fun thread. Of course I never thought testing would be done on a Saturday... Just quoting the big man Mr. Paul Elio... Heck for all we know they have already run it on the dyno multiple times. As someone mentioned in an earlier post: They are being very careful to show developments AFTER they happen successfully. A valid strategy considering the multitude of nay-sayers out there. I'm just excited to see a Youtube video of that lil' 3-banger revving it up on the dyno making a HUGE 60bhp.. I hope the straps are strong enough to reign in all of that power and torque!! LOL!

Not sure if did, or didn't happen this weekend, ( the dynamometer testing ,) but the Elio Team down in New Orleans, yesterday did indicate that it WAS supposed to have started over while they were in New Orleans, with the Elio.

But then, we tend to hear or be told, what we want to hear and know.

So was the testing done?

No official word yet. We are getting some indications from Elio sources that dyno testing may have begun but we will just have to sit tight and wait for them to show us something via official channels. Hopefully they won't make us wait too long. :D
