Elio Gauge Cluster - Lord Elgin? - Other Options?

If this is the dash it is way too hard to read.

If you want to 'keep the price down'; WHY invent, design, manufacture, and supply a NEW 'unique' type dash display...... that is difficult to READ at a 'glance', has much 'wasted space', limited engine information,....... and many consider a 'Safety Factor'?????

What do I like about the Elio? Everything--except those silver donuts.

Maybe when I experience them in reality, rather than just in pictures, I will change my opinion.

I DO like those gauges! With swoopy fenders and a retro look dash I'd be standing in line to buy an Elio!!!

I voted yes, but would have prefered the option of elegant and classic analog infused with modern design and function.

I would much rather have analog gauges, I can much more quickly identify a problem or a reading out of the ordinary. My old eyes sometimes see blurs when I am that close ,
