Be careful unless you're planning to invest instead of buying an Elio. There likely won't be a chance to sell your shares until well after production starts.

Actually, if I could up my reservation for the car, that would help Elio just as much as investing in their stock. And getting the car is a lot less iffy than Elio's succeeding well enough, long enough, to create a market for the stock.

Hey EKH have you tried Ctrl + +. Pushing these two buttons/keys will enlarge any font/type sometimes with out enlarging the pictures. Don't know what I'd do with out this feature. Likewise if you press Ctrl + - it will make things smaller. Just hold down the Ctrl key ( bottom left corner of the keyboard) and then start pressing the + key ( just to the left of the Backspace key) any number of times, till you reach a readable size. Excuse me if I'm being too elemental for you, no disrespect, I have a hard time explaining myself in the written word.

The software behind ElioOwners limits display sizes pretty heavily. So things like type in a low-res jpeg don't respond well to the control + method of upsizing... they get bigger but less readable.

Good point, if it's a choice between buying an Elio and investing in Elio Motors, the added value of getting the car (and saving a bunch of $ on gas) could be enough to make the increased reservation a better decision.

And I bet that's one of the avenues for getting production funding. They can probably start asking the reservation holders to put down the rest of the money once the testing is mostly done and they're close to getting the production line up and running.

Based on the above, latest 7day rate projection says $40.9m by Oct 6th. But going by just today's 1-day rate, we would see only $38.3M., yes erratically slowing down for the last week. However, even the worst case rate projection shows as $40m inside of 30days.
Each EM announcement with any really interesting news bumps the rate backup. Whatever day that happens, obviously with-in the following week 160% ($40m)will be hit.

I think what we are seeing is the tail end of the Motley Fool readership. They might have been out of the country or in a mental ward for the past 12 days. The pledges are the same about $3,000 on the average.

Since we hit 10,000 participants, average bid has been $2,680. I take that as a very good sign. It's about 60% or so of the average bids for the first 37 million. So we're definitely on the slow track, but I'm interpreting that to mean the bids are definitely real. Go Elio.

Just wanted to see better detail for the period after 7/20. Rates are leveling, but not disappearing. It hints to me, if you take out big players and the hackers, plus the adjustments the few days after, you get fairly regularly just above 100k/daily in new expressions. And between $2500 and 4000 average placement.
