Us long-time 'all-in'ers have already gotten an extra bonus boost. I suspect we all might get another one again. Given just the known discounts, our final price seems destined to be back closer to the $6800.

The new A+ expressions above $30m, are continuing to insure the success of the goal amount of $25m. I still suspect that EM can up the request in later revisions.

I notice too, the public confidence was boosted by these last press releases, even though, other than the SEC submission, it wasn't solid physical milestones. Yea, OK we saw some panels. And a bare chassis earlier. I think our predictions that any of P5 completions, over 75mpg success, E1-25 completions and any testing results will have a pronounced if not ginormous effect, are pretty much confirmed.

What I'd want to see now, other than full funding, is faster expansion of the purchase reservations. When that starts to happen, it will encourage itself. On the other hand, If Em would guarantee below some price level, even the $7300 one for those that do so before some cut-off date, I think that would about do it. Even if that date wasn't specified.

I'm not. Laughingoutloud or eliothegreat is just back to troll. The average pledge yesterday since the release of the finance statement was $4,456.00. That is proof enough for me. I'm proud of Elio and my decision to pledge and reserve my egg money into this adventure.

I think they wanted to control the news releases. But that is probably a mistake at this point. Yes, real-time, that would make it twitter-worthy. Tell 'EM again.

You have had some week! Very exacting, very exciting. I appreciate the candor of the SEC application statement. It does show that the situation is risky and the debt load high, but it also says “we’re responsible people, we have a great opportunity for success.” Good job.

As a thought, the real-time counter on the SE site (despite the troll problem — in fact, maybe it helped identify the troll problem so SE.com could deal with it) generated a lot of buzz and excitement. I think the reservations counter on the EM site should be rigged to update every time an all-in (or any reservation if you prefer) credit card transaction clears … in effect, a real-time updater for Elio reservations. It would generate buzz for fans and onlookers,and it would also let you correlate the impact of press releases and other activities. Basically, if you guys do something significant and there’s a spike in reservations, it’s probably safe to assume a correlation.​

Elio probably IS tracking reservations in real time so they know the correlation of press. They just aren't releasing that information in real time. Maybe they don't wan the naysayers to be able to gauge their effect as well.

At this point, with the Reg A+ statement, being timid about your good things -- and each reservation is a Good Thing -- is not what they ought to do, IMO. Flaunt your strengths when your weaknesses are on full view.
