Agreed. However, the Elio epitomizes what these credits are for. Gets people out of gas guzzlers and into efficient commuters. Let's hope they use common sense with some of these changes.

I fully agree. And as much as I would like to see the ELIO, stay a Motorcycle. Changing the rules or reclassifying as a car would be a big help for EM.
As far a commonsense goes the ELIO is a car.

I think is has to do with the fact we basically got daily updates on something showing progress (not just reservations), so we were able to comment pretty much in real time. Wait til they start hiring, that thread will be crazy!

The whole nature of dialog will change if everyone got totally confident about a production and schedule.
But so far each milestone has been a make-it or lose it event. Once that cliffhanger is off the table, you have to find intensity elsewhere. Intensity makes a great story.
