EM stated over a year ago that they were in the process and would have the 25 + prototypes built and tested. My guess is the DOE is still waiting for that milestone to happen along with the rest of us. The good news is that it's only 15 + or - more weeks until the P5 unveil.I share that hope .... having spent 30+ years working in state government, outside of a call from some person in power , I have no clue what it it will take to get the DOE in gear ....

Why would the DOE approve EM's ATVM Loan Application without a drive train tested production prototype? I won't invest another dime until I see the P5 driving around the test track at top speed. Don't blame the DOE. I feel they will approve the loan when they are assured all the criteria is met. Go DOElio!
Nothing to do with meeting any criteria. That can be changed wave ignore in a heart beat. The DOE is a political arm of the government.
They need a thumbs up or down from the power. It has not come yet.
Then why have criteria? I realize politics is a game but meeting and proving that the minimum criteria is met for a DOE low interest loan program doesn't seem unrealistic for any political motivation.Nothing to do with meeting any criteria.
