She's been told, "you break 'em, you buy 'em!" Hence the single digit speed! Was she that scared? Or was that as fast as it goes? It looked like very high single digit speed.
No kidding, I can walk faster then that; that's almost embarrassing.Jerry must have cranked the speed limiter as low as she could go. Perhaps a good sign for a soon to be announced test drive schedule. Hope it's a little faster.
The liability factor is a good point. Also, the EMV Solo Team's racing backgrounds make them extremely safety conscious. Even the early track testing videos show them wearing helmets and related safety gear. With a lot of liability in place on test rides, you usually have to follow the "pace" car. NOT NASCAR style driving,
especially with vehicles that are concept, or not into main stream manufacturing yet.
I checked out EMV in Facebook for the first time and read some of the comments. One stood out when she said that the SOLOs will all be hand built at a pace of 10 a month and because of that, it'll take a long while for the first 500 deliveries to be fulfilled. I don't know how credible she is or where she got her source info. but is there any truth on this? Then again, who cares, as long as they're actually delivering it, right? The liability factor is a good point. Also, the EMV Solo Team's racing backgrounds make them extremely safety conscious.
