Yes, the FTRC appears to be road kill. However, the ElectraMeccanica Solo is flying around the test tracks and flying the road. I feel closer than ever in my 10 + year pursuit of buying and driving an enclosed 'fly the road' three wheeler.Flytheroadclub.com finally euthanized?
There is good news and bad news. Having the wider wheels and the narrower body should prevent body dings. But wheel well dings and tripping while walking between cars WILL HAPPEN.
Thanks for the i-TRIL post! I started a thread for the Toyota i-TRIL. I like the active lean technology.Toyota plans to bring a concept of a three-passenger version of the i-Road to Geneva, called the i-Tril.
Rickb, I just had an e-mail from EMV that says "THE FIRST 500 DELIVERY VEHICLES ARE SCHEDULED FOR ESTIMATED DELIVERY BETWEEN Q2 2017 AND Q1 2018". So early reservation holders should be hearing from EMV very soon for their final options, color choice, etc. Wow, very exciting news! I'm just waiting for them to say compliance complete and I'll follow suit w/ you all using ELIO receipt as a SOLO deposit! Thanks for the i-TRIL post! I started a thread for the Toyota i-TRIL. Good news! Hopefully reservationist deliveries start right after the upcoming Vancouver Motor Show! Keep in mind that if/when you use your elio receipt to reserve a Signature Series Solo you have no added out of pocket cost and can still cancel that reservation at any time risk free.Rickb, I just had an e-mail from EMV that says "THE FIRST 500 DELIVERY VEHICLES ARE SCHEDULED FOR ESTIMATED DELIVERY BETWEEN Q2 2017 AND Q1 2018". Coming in at 10 cubic feet, almost the same cargo room as a Mercedes C300 coupe (never owned one). My wife will like that!

For me, I like these circle lights reminding me of a Ferrari! (Never owned one)
Hey Rickb, any chance that speed limiter can be trick adjusted to at least 90mph???
Totally agree with you on the it's 0-60 mph.Yep, lots of frunk space for the COSTCO runs.
The Solo's 137 mph top speed is limited to 82 mph which is fast enough for me! However, what I do like is the quick 0-60 mph.
Having the need for speed.........you might be in the market for the Solo Racer.
