I’m certain Arcimoto will deliver reservationist FUVs in 2019 based on my recent test drive and manufacturing plant tour. Fairly certain the SOLO will deliver too. I hope you can hold on a short while longer since you could get both in 2019! Have you test driven either one?

Well RickB, it looks like you're all set with your FUV having test driven it but I'll wait a bit until I hear that the SOLO China assembly plant is already in operation, then it's safe to say they're ready for Q1 deliveries like they've been saying. I don't want to get too excited after a test drive and then announcing a delay from Q1 to whatever.

Stay pumped! I think they will both deliver our rides of choice in 2019!

You're not crazy RUCRAYZE, you speak the truth! We love our trucks or as you say "safe large machines" and they're not gonna go away or any of those gas guzzlers. But like I said, the pure EVs have arrived and it'll take it's share of the pie. Tesla is already outselling some popular brand of cars. o yeah, a lot of them out there with disposable cash wants their TESLAs. Me, I just want my SOLO, is that too much to ask???

The big LA AUTO SHOW is coming soon Nov. 30- Dec. 9 and as usual the big auto makers will be there including TESLA, unfortunately Electra Meccanica SOLO/TOFINO or the ARCIMOTO FUV was not on the display list. This would've been a really good marketing promotion for both as it's visited by thousands. o well....I'm still pumped RickB!

That's true. Electra Meccanica Vehicle Corp. and Meriwether Group, LLC. announces partnership to expand branding of new SOLO EV in the US so this is my assumption in preparation before the SOLO goes mass production the end of this year or the next.

Yet another fake news sent to reservation owners! EMV already sent a warning e-mail not to open it so I don't know what the fake message was! This time it was from Mark West and the message starts with "Hello dear..." Lol

Ok so latest update from Jerry Knoll is that the factory is operational and that it takes about 3hrs. to fully assemble a SOLO compared to the 3-7hrs. at their Canada shop. He also said that around 5,000 units will be produced between Jan. to Dec. 2019 and will gradually increase. I asked how many units are allotted for the US reservation holders from that initial 5K that will be produced next year and I'm still waiting for his reply. Overall a substantial news.

5K units in a year? That seems really low. Elio will be doing from 125K to 250K per year. Sounds like the Solo is more of a hobbyist type car.

The first 5K are just to start until the lines and the workers are in sync then Jerry knoll said it will go to 20K up. It's not even close to a hobbyist type of 3wheeler at 64K+ current reservations and rising due to their ongoing test drives. EM however is long ways off from producing those numbers - how 'bout starting with just one (1) pre-production ELIO??? It's easy to throw numbers out there for gullibles, we all wanted to believe that but the reality says otherwise.
