I believe this is the biggest thing to understand. The seating position and window configuration will provide a different view than we are used to however I am sure we will quickly adapt to the differences.

I am glad you like my artwork. You should be aware, though, that the shot you've posted was taken with a fisheye lens and exaggerates the perspective a bit. While it accurately captures the FEEL of the Elio cockpit, it does make the pillars look thicker and longer than they actually are. BTW, photo credits are always appropriate!

Maybe a darker trim would help make them less obtrusive. Also you can easily look out the right side window to negate the problem.

This is truly the big issue as sitting in it is completely different than photos or trying to imagine what it could be like. The truth is that once you sit down in the vehicle it quickly becomes apparent that it will not be an issue.
