If a story like this broke, a bunch of other websites would get a hold of this and then everyone that knows Elio Motors, will be concerned. Stock price would plummet and a bunch of the refundables that are the ones where the credit card companies are not holding the money but the ones that Elio is to have in escrow,”

Maybe so, this TV station is the same one that did a piece earlier on ‘non refundable’ refunds and it’s in Paul’s hometown.

The Investigative Reporter, Joe Ducey, looks like has the chops to dig deep now into the ‘refundable’ deposits.

We covered that here a while back. From looking at the date, it was Jan 15, 2018 which will be a two year old story in about a bit over a month. At the end of that news story Joe says, "He (Paul) is eyeing late 2019 as a production date." Here we are in late 2019 and mid 2021 is the earliest it could ever happen. I suspect come May 2021 we will be talking about 2024 as the production date. It's kind of sad to see all of these stories that are getting older and older yet zero info from Elio as to what's going on or even if they will produce the product.

I think it was ‘blind luck’ that Michael (tnt) picked that particular Phoenix TV station. He wasn’t on here long enough to know (without going way back and looking) that that was the same station that took an interest almost two years ago.

And yes, he can’t update us, but I am in contact with him: he did say he was banned from this site...

This is what the petition is all about.

This is a petition to file a class action lawsuit against Elio Motors. They keep accepting reservations for cars but they have no problem delaying and pushing back the release date of the vehicle. This petition should at the very least, garner enough support to initiate a class action lawsuit that allows customers to get their reservation cost back immediately or in the near future. Should the release date be pushed back yet another time, I suggest some sort of government interference to either shutdown or temporarily prevent their ability to collect funds from more unsuspecting buyers.

I don’t know what they are complaining about, getting a refund from Paul and Co. is easy—-all you need is a local TV station to keep ‘pestering’ them.

Here’s an email from the Phoenix TV station to Micheal Noel (TnT), that Elio Motors contacted them to say they will finally send a check to Michael, so it does certainly appear that that pressure finally forced Paul to (rightfully) pay up! EZ!!

It is particularly telling that Elio apparently contacted the TV station before informing the ‘refundee.’ It also looks like the TV station waited to hear from Michael to see if the check was actually received.
