I realize Elio Owners have little interest in the FUV, but I thought this was a cool color configuration. :)

‘White Christmas‘ delivered to happy FUV customers. I find the FUV’s market appeal to the 60+ year old age demographic very interesting and surprising, since most have never owned a motorcycle. However, it is a blast to drive if you are young or old. :)

I was #19 in the first 100 retail FUVs and was scheduled to take delivery in December 2019. I pulled out of the production queue because the doors were 4-6 weeks out and to my disappointment I’m still waiting for those pop on/pop off doors. I enjoyed the open air test drive experience, however, I require doors for 90% of my drive time. Apparently doors are coming soon. Sooner is better than later, now would be better than sooner. Hopefully, my 12 year long interest and pursuit of an enclosed three wheeler ends spring/summer of 2021. I’ll post a photo if or when that happens. The good news is bugs have been worked out and improvements made as a result of thousands of early adopter miles and Arcimoto is taking good care of their customers. :)

Frankly, I would have preferred the more affordable $7300 Elio. My guess is the FUV is more fun to drive in terms of performance and handling, but I’ll never know for certain since I’ve only driven the FUV.

Are the doors suppose to have glass in them when they come out?
No glass and no climate control beyond windshield defroster, heated seats, and hand grips. The FUV is definitely more motorcycle than auto. The first available Pop on/pop off door option will be half doors with upper full enclosure inserts to follow. The FUV is not going to be a year around commuter in all climates. Configurator rendering of the ‘West Coast’ doors.

I recently got my reservation refund from Arcimoto. Didn't have to wait that long and was very courteous but just wanted to know why and I told them I would've considered owning one had they produced the base (cheaper) version that I signed up for from the beginning knowing now that it was just a "teaser" and would eventually end up in the back burner so they can sell their more expensive Evergreen version leaving lots of hopeful reservation holders disappointed. 19K + and no doors just won't appeal to the masses except to those with disposable income. JMHO.
