Liability is not a big deal for what they are doing. It's basic machine production. They don;t have any trade secrets, it's not food or clean room production. They can do a limited run of the first 100 customers and you fit right in there. I would think this would be an excellent marketing opportunity for the company because they now have real customers getting a real verified product. Since you are a customer, it wouldn't hurt to ask because in the end, they can just say, "No" and then you go from there. I think it would be cool to see you getting it. Maybe others will chime in and we can use peer pressure to make you do it. As we all know, peer pressure works.

If you like laws and sausages, you should never watch either one being made.
I have watched commercial sausage being made as well as grocery store pork and beef being ground. Ever since I make my own sausage and watch my favorite butcher grind Pork Butt and whole beef chuck to my specs. I use that fresh ground porkbutt/beef chuck to make sausage and burgers at home. :)

It appears that Arcimoto has settled their class action lawsuit. http://shareholdersfoundation.com/c...qfuv-investor-securities-class-action-lawsuit

I don't have a lot of details, but it appears that they knowingly claimed more capability to produce vehicles than they actually had, and are going to pay about $2.5M to shareholders (probably most of it will go the the attorneys).

Meccanica seems to have some money, but Elio and Sondors appear to be broke. It would seem that all three of them could be sued under the same terms, of offering stock when they knew, or should have known, that they were not going to meet their production claims.

IMHO, Elio & Sondors are settlement-proof, as there is simply no money to recover, and the attorneys won't want to work for free. Winning doesn't mean much if you don't get paid.

It was settled out of court back in January. Page F-19:

I received the class action settlement form in yesterday’s mail. I decided to NOT participate in the class action settlement. I was aware of the risk involved as a long term investor and long time Team Arcimoto supporter. The original IPO funding round was used for Arcimoto’s stated purpose.

That silhouette looks a lot like an Elio...
Yes it does........and the same number of wheels. :) I wish they were both about to deliver. The FUV is insanely fun to drive. I hope to comparison test drive the Elio some day, and the SOLO. I can envision a three wheeler collection in one of my garage stalls. I’m looking forward to owning and driving my first EV.

The Solo just looks too short for my tastes. It looks too much like a car that was pinched off at the rear. I get the appeal for others but I just don't like the proportions. To me, the Elio has a much better side view.
