I agree. The "B" fenders on the front wheels are very nice. That would look amazing paired with spoke rims. The rear "A" fairing with the squared off look is also better looking than the rounded one. Not sure about the colors. The two-color scheme is nice, but I have an odd feeling that the black plastic fairing looks ... "cheap".
All the plastic add ons look cheap, however, I'm gonna get the one that makes it appear there is a rear window * the louvered one- cut down the B.S. about no rear window)

As I see it, the complex part on the left has the instrument panel top center, the "tunnel" for the steering wheel in the lower center, single DIN port center right, and I have no Idea what the box-like structure just below it is. Also don't see where A/C controls will go; you can just make out the upper AC vent on the upper right (unless that's a hole for a tweeter, which I doubt). I think the part on the lower right will hold the Elgin dash and two facia-mounted AC ports. The curves on the outer edges of that part seem to mate with the center hole in the console.

The roof is easy to recognize, and I recognize the trunk lid OK. I'm having a bit of trouble with the "seating tub." I see where the drive sits, but if the passenger sits at the same level as the driver, it looks like the trunk shelf won't be flat if the passenger seat is folded forward. I'm probably visualizing it wrong, and sure hope so, because having the larger, level storage area is really important for the kinds of gear I carry.
The driver's seat will mount on the same plane as the yellow tape, the passenger's seat will mount in that toilet looking area and the shelf behind that is obvious, right?

There should be more of the floor pan somewhere...

Hopefully they find a way to cut some weight on that.
If they're not pretty substantial they'll shake themselves to death, vibrate in the wind (and transmit that inboard), and generally under-perform. Saving some weight would be nice, but not at the expense of solid, durable construction. Now carbon fiber or kevlar -- there's an idea whose time won't come (cost) but sure would save weight.

EM promised an updated projected date would be given after the supplier summit and they have kept that promise .... they rightly didn't promise to give info that the date would be shortened .... right now, that looks like a 3 month delay, I don't see that as being earth shaking

I've posted this in another thread, but I think it's pertinent here, as well:

"I guess I'm reading the language differently than most:

"There are two key pieces of information that we’d like to point out. One, the price listed in the Preliminary Offering Circular is “less than $7,600.00.” Second, we state that we do not expect to start delivering to customers until the fourth quarter of 2016 at the earliest."
I read that as worst case, my thoughts being that EM is stating to the SEC (and indirectly, the DOE) a date and a price that they are very confident in reaching, so that neither group would bust their collective balls later - or worse, have professional victim "investors" file a class action suit saying they were mis-lead into investing. Remember, too, that CEOs face fines and/or prison time these days for false and mis-leading statements, so I think there is a whole lot of hedging and CYA'ing going on.

And we shouldn't make a mountain out of the hiring & training processes - I've brought new factories online and, with focus, hiring and training can be done inside 4 weeks. Funny thing is, the biggest part of training won't be how to do their 58 second tasks, it'll be all the ancillary stuff..."
