While we are talking about words...

I never liked manual transmissions referred to as "standard" transmissions. If a manual transmission is what is meant, I wish the word manual was used, not the word standard. Standard means default. Today, the standard (or default) transmission is often (usually) an automatic transmission. I believe this came about years ago when manual was the standard of the day (?)

I am going to try using the words default and manual and avoid using the word standard since it can mean different thing.
I do this with other things.
I use the words breakfast, lunch, and supper to avoid using the word dinner since it can mean different things.

OMG I can see it now. I'm going to start a string of posts about the word "dinner". I can see it coming.
Isn't a manual transmission, a Mexican Reporter??

My guess is, based on the history of paucity of info from EM, that we'll hear nothing useful, if anything, after this meeting.
Actually in a interview, Paul promised to firm up production dates and such after this conference. But since funding is a big part of when Elio's will be flying off the line, not sure how that will work. But we shall see.

Language spoken in some other quadrant of the social galaxy -- haven't been there.
I must speak about the prority of goals here. The pinical point is being fully understood while having many ears listening. Some of which you have no idea what thier base-line knowledge is. There are many, many contexts assumed in any desertation. The mostly likely case is to loose some portion of your audiance.

Frankly, if a person makes thier point such that I understand it, I could-dent care less about perfect spelling or gammer. But, that IS just me.:crutch:

Typos only bother me when they obscure your meaning or become terribly distracting. As your post so amply illustrates. :)

I certainly hope the usual suspects give Paul a chance to get a press release out after the meeting before calling for blood because it wasn't there or he didn't give them exactly what they wanted to hear.
Even if PE said it was going into production that day, it wouldn't be what they want to hear. Those are people that are never happy or satisfied.
