A Diesel?

I like Diesel ...But a suitable Diesel option would defeat the key reason I am interested in this vehicle . For $6800 , I am thrilled with 84 MPG , 100 MPH , power windows , AC etc . Add a few thousand more for a Diesel , Automatic transmission and a few various accoutrements and the Elio is less appealing .

I think that's why Paul mentioned that alternate power options would be in future models (when they no longer have to stick close to $6,800)

I figured people would have gotten over that whole diesel thing after VW got fined over $14 Billion for cheating on the EPA tests.

No, not really. You just have to accept that you're going to be putting a lot of junk into the air.
