I think this Dominos delivery car is a good idea applied to an Elio. You would need only one hatch on the driver side to make this work, keeping the window. I may 3d model that one. Also a good idea if you have a baby in back. And then there is the 'Incident Boss' command car I have in mind.

If I may, a spotlight on the roof would be a good touch. I had that job in college.:D

Just ran across this; the original 3D home "printer" <------link) this came out in the 60's

That is soooo cool! I was probably too young to remember the commercials. Nowadays, what a liability nightmare! Gone are the "good old days" when kids could all play with things like, Lawn darts, Carbide Cannons & fireworks! :fencing:My brother made a Crossbow in H.S. shop class. I remember bringing some black powder pistols in to Metal-shop to show to my teacher! Jail time, now.
I learned a bit about vacuum forming while working for a major Kayak manufacturer (Dagger) back in the '90s. Since then, I have used what I learned to make some small parts for r/c airplanes. No need for an oven, tho. A small Shop-vac, and a heat gun are about the only special equipment needed.

While Truespoke's website says they don't have any FWD rims, I found this webpage of theirs: http://www.truespoke.net/100-spoke-front-wheel-drive.html

"These wheels are NOT made by Truespoke. They are imported from China. They are a good value and quality for the price." ...

"Important information about Truewire front wheel drive wheels: These wheels do not fit on every front wheel drive automobile. On some cars equipped with large disc brakes or rotors, these wheels may not fit at all. On other cars, the wheels and tires might stick out of the body or rub on the body. Please let us help you determine if these wheels will fit your car prior to ordering. We suggest you use our measuring guide to help select the correct wheel."

I would prefer a US made option... and found: http://www.daytonwirewheels.com/

They have a FWD option: http://www.daytonwirewheels.com/carrims/beadlace.php

...and a picture of a three-wheeled Morgan as an example: http://www.daytonwirewheels.com/images/gallery/british/morgan_sports_car.jpg

...perhaps in a whitewall: http://www.northhantstyres.com/images/tyre-photo-zoom/diamond-back/diamond-back-wide-whitewall.jpg

The BBS are a 20point pattern, and a flat layout as well. I'll try that. This is custom, so what rim size? What tire width? Also, what color layout? We may a well get in a whole custom accessorized Elio on this one, add a tail, add anything that fits with the 70's racing style those rims suggest? I will put the clear panel on this one.

I'll use the TrueSpokes on a classic styling I'm planning.

The Mike Corbin Sparrow EV was an even more functional quick to get around the city fleet delivery vehicle:
