This is just my guess, given where the rear tire is, if you put in a hitch receiver for a small motorcycle trailer it would look like this. I'm assuming in this drawing 1" is about right for that lite of a receiver. It's also attached to the skirt. (I presume two more bolts to remove to get to the rear suspension), and it would be bolted or welded into the vehicle chassis with some structure.

I think the next thing I'd like to see is, what would it be like to have the back window, the P3 type wheel covers, and a convertible?
I'll try that, just cause I'd like to see that, oh yea and the opening passenger windows. I'll put that into one model. Of course I'll upload that to the 3d warehouse and let you know here.
At the same time, I'm going to shift to 155's instead of the 185's, since I really want to know what things would really look like.

Hey AriLea, I was wondering if you could make a 3d model of this Elio model in the pic attached below. I love this particular styling, it stands out with minor touches, & remains simple & clean. The fenders have openings from the side, so that the wheels remain visible. I was thinking of having that covered with some type of transparent material, in order to maintain optimum fuel efficiency on long drives. And maybe one with an extended sun/moonroof? :D

I was thinking of that too, but rejected the clear panel, it will get dirty almost immediately and IMO drive you nuts cleaning it all the time.

Great looking model and the rear window is super.
Thanks! I probably should have added a middle brace just above and behind the drivers head to complete the roll cage. On the other hand maybe that should be an installable/removable option.
What do you think about the mags? At the time I designed them I was looking to do something a little different.
I did get 'different' at least.

I look at that rear window and see a piece of glass just waiting to "catch" some kids baseball. Somehow, the more upright window doesn't give me that impression. LOL :-) Z

Cool back window Ari! looks like a perfect place to install (on the inside to protect it from the elements) a rearview camera, and have the display up front in the standard rearview mirror position...unless you're really into checking yourself out while you're driving. Excellent wheels too! I see you've kept the "3" theme going there. NICE! :)
