red flag due to rain on Lap 38 of a scheduled 500
I bet it doesn't run till Sunday
Yup, I was right, 1:00 Eastern time Sunday 8-21-16 I forgot what channel; but it's some NBC affiliate like MSNBC or NBCSC
8-21-16 .... Sunday .... race coverage has resumed on CNBC at 1PM Eastern .... unfortunately, its raining as this is being typed and the cars are covered
Did you see when they had to circulate around the track last night when it was pouring rain? It was crazy!! Sliding down the banking sideways; no windows in the cars so the interiors have a bunch of water in them (that ought to be great for the electronics).
under red flag conditions they can't touch the cars .... I wonder just what they will be allowed to do/check because of that rain

things are looking up .... the cars have been uncovered and the drivers are getting in .... they say the crews have been working hard to dry out electronics
