the rained out :rain: NASCAR Sprint Cup Series' Pennsylvania 400 at Pocono Raceway has been rescheduled to drop the green flag at 11 a.m. ET Monday (Aug 1st) .... it will be televised on NBCSN ....

"Earnhardt said in Tuesday's edition of the "Dale Jr. Download" podcast on Dirty Mo Radio that he was heeding the advice of doctors in taking a slow course of recovery, saying that concussion-related ailments were not conditions that he could "race through" on the track. He reiterated that Saturday, tweeting that his physicians were "preaching patience."

Four-time series champ Gordon, who raced his entire career with Hendrick Motorsports, emerged from retirement last weekend at Indianapolis as a substitute. Gordon is back in the No. 88 Chevy at least through this weekend at Pocono Raceway for Monday's Pennsylvania 400.

The team has said that there is no firm timetable for Earnhardt's return to competition. Gordon said Friday at Pocono that he would serve as an interim driver for as long as the team needed him."

That's because his (Jeff) TV time is the first half of the year on Fox Sports; so he really doesn't have any other commitments until the start of next season.
And Tony is taking advantage of Jeff being back; did you see the 2 of them taking "one last lap together" at Indy?
It was pretty cool; but now they can do that at all of the remaining races.

Today is the Glenn!
A very fast road course that has a major elevation change as part of the track.
Tempers tend to flair at this track, and there is more than just 2 places to pass.
There are also some spots that are more prone squeeze plays and during the Xfinity race they had a few crashes in these areas; almost always at mid-pack or the tail end group.
Great fun to watch!

I was betting on Larson; but Alman-dinker knocked him out just before the finish line and he finished 29th
Tony was in the top ten!

No kidding :(
And over in NHRA (the dragsters and Funny cars) they couldn't run the finals when they were up in Seattle.
So they said because of scheduling conflicts, they would hold the finals at Minnesota; so I go to watch that today and surprise; it's raining there this morning; but it's supposed to clear up this afternoon; so that got put on hold.
Oh well, I still have NFL pre-season and PBR Bull Riding I want to watch.
