Great Game!!! :thumb:
It used to be I didn't like Denver at all (mostly because the Seahawks used to be in the same division) but I was cheering for them the whole game; I dislike the Panthers and Ego Newton more than I didn't like Denver; I'm also a big Peyton Manning fan.
They have said in the last 11 Super Bowls that defense won 9 of them; this made it 10 of the last 12.
Ware and Von Miller dominated the game; glad to see Miller win the MVP too.
I just hope Peyton has enough sense to retire before next season.

Good going Denver Broncos Super Bowl 50 Champs!! 24 to 10

Recap of the Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper Bowl:

Denver did it again: held a dangerous playoff offense to below-their-avg points, mainly because the Broncos defense can pressure the QB on pass plays and that more often than not creates turnovers. Cam didn't have 3 turnovers because he played badly; it was because he was pressured, sacked, hit, running for his life, getting crunched often. 23 incompletions out of 41 passes. Ouch. Sacked 6 times. Double ouch. Manning's numbers were very unimpressive, and he had 2 turnovers and was sacked 5 times too. And it was 16-10 with 10:21 to go in the game. Denver was able to overcome Talib's knuckle-headed-ness on defense with his 3 penalties in the first half. Won't be surprised if he gets fined for that face-mask tackle on the sidelines.

Carolina had 12 penalties for the game to Denver's 6. Both teams were horrible on 3rd down, but Carolina lost in the turnover dept 4-2. Carolina outgained Denver 315 yds to 194. As you can see, Carolina moved the ball, but they had drives end in a turnover, a punt or a missed FG.

A really nice job done by Colquitt the punter for Denver. Many of his kicks were landing right at the sideline... the Panther return guy would catch the ball and his momentum would take him out of bounds. Both teams did have one long punt return.

Congrats to the Broncos! Will be interesting to see how many defensive players they can keep with free agency looming. http://www.denverpost.com/broncos/ci_29489590/whats-come-broncos-major-roster-changes-appear-guaranteed

Congrats also to the Panthers, had a fantastic season. Usually, the Super Bowl loser has a not-as-good season the following year, but we shall see.

When they play the National Anthem, some players have class and respect and put their hands over their hearts to show that respect. Others look down, sway around, etc... Manning is a class act. I am NOT a Broncos fan but I'd rather Manning get the win than Newton. It isn't race related but respect related. I served for 24 years (officially retired 01 Feb 2016). The least you can do is show some respect. Cam, are you listening?

Big headlines today? Cam's interview after; welcome to the big leagues Cam; time for you to grow up and learn some maturity.
He was a big pouty baby and wanted to have a "oh pity me" party; but no one wanted to hear it.
He blames it on a Denver player within earshot that was slamming the entire Panthers team.
To bad Cam, time to put on the big boy pants and act like an MVP.

"According to a still unverified report from ESPN Cleveland's ESPN Cleveland's Bruce Hooley, Manziel showed up to the Browns team facility under the influence of something and was 'disheveled'.

I ask again, anyone surprised ?

"After Johnny Manziel's ex-girlfriend, Colleen Crowley, filed for a protective order last week, some more details are coming out about the fallout of the incident with Manziel.

Following the disgusting account that came out about Manziel hitting Crowley and threatening to kill her came out, Crowley reportedly suffered a ruptured eardrum from how hard Manziel hit her, her attorney Kathy Kinser told NBC5 in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

"They expect (the ear) to heal, but it'll take a while," Kinser said to the news station. Dallas PD have recently opened a criminal investigation into the domestic assault case and while nothing new has come out regarding the investigation, the ruptured eardrum is certainly an alarming development.

Manziel denied the account to TMZ last week and Crowley was issued a protective order from Manziel. As a result, Manziel is not allowed to go near Crowley for two years."
