Check it out Ty, I just read this on ESPN: "Cowboys tight end Jason Witten is receiving treatment for two sprained ankles and a sprained knee, and it is not certain he will play Sunday against the Falcons, sources told Ed Werder."

No Dez, no Romo, and now possibly no Witten. Atlanta's D has been good vs. the run so far, only 80 yds/game, so if they can make Weeden throw it more, the Falcons might be able to go in to Dallas and win. I'll be rooting for Atlanta.
Excellent. Of course, Witten has played hurt like that before... Still, it's looking good. Especially for a team that was written off before the season started. Now, if I can just get Cam Newton to start losing... they've been playing like crap but still winning. At least Atlanta played halfway decent teams.

Watching the Falcons was like watching the Seahawks from 3 years ago; they will be good this year with the possibility of being Great! next year.

Speaking of the Seahawks they are calling for the OC to be fired and I agree with them 100%
Sunday's game against Green Bay was an embarrassment; first drive, 3 times the Beast up the left side, 3 times the same result, no gain, punt.
Second drive Lynch up the left side twice, no gain, short pass, first down, next play, Lynch up the left, no gain. Umm mister OC IT"S NOT WORKING!!!

This weekend Seahawks at home against ...... Da Bears
If we can't win that one, we might as well just pack it up and forget the rest of the season.

At least for this weekend, Go Bears!! :becky:

But I agree. I have no idea why they quit letting Wilson run the option. That series in the 3rd quarter he was able to walk to a first down any time he wanted to. If they kept that up, it would force GB to either commit another guy to stopping the run, opening up some passing opportunities, or spread thinner to contain Wilson, which would make some nice big holes for the RB.

Seattle will be ok I think. They have 8 home games in front of them, they should win 7 of them. Just need to win 3 of the remaining 6 on the road. 49ers, Vikings, and Ravens all might be very winnable in their houses.

When teams win, there's always a question of play calling on offense and/or bad tackling on defense. I hear ya on the idea that trying the same play over and over that's not working, sounds like a bad idea. As I look down the play-by-play, I see Lynch during the game at various times having rushes of 7, 7, 3, 11, 7, 5, 8. That's 7 of his 15 rushes. So yeah 8 of his rushes were for no gain or a loss. And 2.7 yds/carry is not good.

I think most fans of non-Seattle teams would say you gotta give the Beast the rock. Also, Lynch only ran the ball 3 times the 2nd half, so that says the OC decided for the 2nd half, gotta try something else.

Seattle had the lead in the 4th qtr too in Lambeau, something that I bet very few teams can say this year (or last). ;)

Hang in there, Seahawks will get a win this coming week with the 12th man assisting, vs Chicago.

And we picked up this one guy Jimmy Graham
Probably one of the best tight ends in the NFL and the OC has no clue how to use him.
Why did we sign him if they aren't going to use him?

There is also talk that the OC is trying to make up about the SB or prove that giving Lynch would not have scored in the SB and his pass call was a better choice.

Different situations; the SB call was on the one yard line, and this year it's anything on their half of the field
