Spotted this, (looks like any number of iPad/IPhone software will be available for ODBII)

OBDII was mandated for 1996 MY. So every single car by mid-1995 including the absolute cheapest made had a computer capable of full OBDII data. Here we are 20 years later and Jerome is telling us that despite Moore's Law dropping the cost of a computer by 95% (or 13 times more powerful), a full OBDII computer is still too expensive? Smells fishy to me.

I will be very disappointed if they deliver a crippled OBDII implementation. Don't worry, I'm not cancelling my reservation but I may kick Paul in the shin when I pick mine up.

per the feds, you are correct about OBDIII being mandated for CARS .... per the feds, an Elio is a motorcycle, not a CAR .... it might pay to consider that prior to launching into a tirade

Well then, whatever a motorcycle after market can supply, maybe that will work.
I'll ask if the Skyz will enable real-time MPG monitoring and Handsfree phone support,

but for me, I'm counting on aftermarket devices for these things. I'm sure some of the older GoldWing owners have looked into MPG monitoring.
