Has anyone thats seen the prototype know what size speakers are in it and locations.
Looks to have a single din size opening on the dash.
Whatever is in the final product will be cheap. The nature of the question suggests yo7'll be wanting to tear it all out anyway. I doubt there will be stock 6x9's in a cabin this small, and not much chance of fitting a standard sub enclosure anywhere. I have a suspicion that the bumpin' bass-monster system will probably require some serious ground-up custom work, at least 'till the after màrket catches up. Gotta keep an eye on power demand, and battery size too, as these are likely limited.

More than a 6 by 9 like to see a standard round 6.5 ...or even 5.5
That way a component set up could be fitted. Plenty of room in storage spot for a single 8 or 10.
Two way stage up front, 8 or 10 in storge.
Use small class d amps....
Fit a Pioneer DEH-80PRS in the single din spot. Or what ever its called when the elio is sold.
Takes up very little space and sounds great. Acitve two way front stage plus sub. Time alinment. And auto eq.
Used this same idea in my last two cars.
Not at all about the bump. About sound quality.
A must have for me in a daily driver.

Sounds like you've got your sound system pretty well thought out. Space-wise, I was thinking about Aura Bass Shakers under the seats for a little more 'thump'.

Funny thing Is my mids are the one spot I spend major $$$ on.
I used to do car systems back when it was about sounding good, not just rattling windows six blocks away. The mid range is where the music happens, and a good bass is just on the stiff side, with a properly calculated enclosure, not that sloppy open-air crap. Sounds like you got a decent system going, just will take some dremmel action to make it work.
