Well, my phone isn't quite that dumb, but not much beyond! I think the rotary dial is a great idea, I mean when I pull my little flip phone out you can almost hear the groans of sympathy (or maybe disgust, I'm sticking with sympathy). Can you imagine the psychological devastation resulting from the dial being where the buttons are supposed to be? I'm not a Luddite, far from it! It's just when there is an opportunity to create harmless havoc among the unprepared, I try to be johhny on the spot! My new dream phone!

I guess I'm pretty much the last one left but I have no interest in a cell phone that does more than make phone calls .... I'd be happy with an AM/FM radio .... when I listen to a radio in a vehicle its either on because of a race or a ball game

No, there's a few of us out here. Mine is a 1 year old LG840 that cost 50 bucks. For 11 bucks a month I get 150 minutes. All I use is Google Maps and weather radar. I would get the Elio with no radio but it would be a long ride home w/out one. I'll transfer the system from my KIA - If I can get the sub box to fit in the trunk!

Hmmm, we're not quite up to date on phones. We do have cell phones but they are dumb as opposed to smart phones. We do have tablets (they are Kindle Fire tablets) but don't really know if they would interface. So I'm just wondering if this system would end up just being dash board bling for us, as we don't anticipate getting a smart phone any time soon. With the tablets we can get the audio books we would listen to on cds or music from Amazon and so on and so forth. So I guess I just need to know how broad the compatibility this system would provide.
Yeah, I'd prefer the standard dash over digital anyday. This is supposed to be a basic inexpensive vehicle so lets let the aftermarket industry take care of the custom stuff. Just imagine seeing the first custom Elio at SEMA!

Click on the sentence Z. ;)
Sigh! I guess I'm getting too old for all this high tech stuff. Who would ever thing of clicking on a sentence unless there is something indicating it has something to click on. Thanks for the tip off.

That is the craziest phone I have ever seen. I celebrated when we switched from rotary to push button. And from only black to other colors. Why on earth would anyone want to go back. Of course to you young uns it is all new. :p  :) Z
