It's going to happen until Elio stops repeating the same blogs then. There are many other items they could cover but refuse to do so. I'll post some things I'd like to see:
1. Evolution of the front suspension (which has changed a lot over the years)
2. The rear suspension
3. The transmissions (there are two and they could go into detail as to the gear ratios and how both will operate)
4. New exhaust routing (they have a CAD screenshot of the new battery placement but nothing of the exhaust)
5. The new fuel port (along with the gas tank)
6. All of the plumbing in the car (brakes, cooling, AC, EVAP)
7. Window regulators
8. Details of the airbag system
9. Wheels (what's stock and the optional ones)
10. Fender options
11. Sound System and options
12. Pedal assemble
13. Carpet
14. Seat construction
15. Shifter
16. Stalk Controls
17. In depth look at the Teves ABS/Stability control
18. How to change a tire on the Elio
19. Braking system
20. What we learned on the aero of the Elio

Maybe some of these have been covered before but I bet they could be updated. What I have listed can run them through March 9, 2020. There's absolutely no reason why Elio couldn't just cover simple topics like this. What it does is gives new information and then gives us new things to talk about. Until then, we will be just like Elio Motors and repeat old info.
Would you do all these work you suggested for free??? Already then.....stick with the old blogs well ya? :D

Paul can write all of these himself. He's a Mechanical Engineer and knows the Elio better than anyone. Due to the skunkworks type of secrecy, nobody else can write them. All he needs to do is spend 15 minutes in a Starbucks per day over 5 days then publish on every 7th. Contrary to popular belief, he's not looking for money 24/7 as he still needs to live and tend to the operations of Elio Motors. This would constitute tending to the operations of Elio Motors, then he can write off the coffee as a business expense.

Writing weekly blogs would seem to be a huge waste of Paul Elio’s time...

Until Paul Elio embraces full corporate transparency...the blog is just not relevant...and serves very little purpose...

I’m just patiently waiting for Paul to man up...and be honest about the future of Elio Motors...

I’ve never heard of another CEO of a public company that goes into hiding...that shows a complete lack of respect for the reservation and shareholders...

I don't see how spending 15 minutes per day is a waste of time for anyone. Nobody is that busy. It's a way to show that the company is doing more than repeating old blogs. That someone cares as opposed to telling us through emails that get posted here. Paul is no different than the rest of us. He sleeps, has bowel movements, takes a shower, eats, drinks, pays the bills etc. So if you determine that 15 minutes per day for 5 days a week is a waste of time, then you have a different view of what someone should do with their time as opposed to the rest of us. I assume he owns a laptop that can run 5-6 different things at a time thus keeping notepad open and just writing down a paragraph is not a hard thing to do, all while answering emails and traveling to various investors.

Yes, we would all love to see him on TV or on a video. That only takes as much time as to write a blog. It's not like he needs a Hollywood production. Communication is communication. This is what he needs to do and I'm trying to find the easiest way of doing it where it's not a huge waste of time. I know if I were in his shoes, I'd be doing this as I owe it to my longtime supporters that trusted me to take their money.

Saying that Paul really cares is an oxymoron...

Paul has not made any attempt to communicate the current status of Elio Motors to his reservation holders or investors for over a year...

As a CEO of a public traded corporation...Paul has not met his fiduciary responsibility to be transparent with his shareholders...

Not staying current with the SEC documentation is all I need to know about Paul... there seems to be a complete lack of business ethics in play...

Paul seems to only care about himself...

I can't figure out what you want then. Is it only full corporate transparency? If that's the case then you are upset with every other business in existence. Full transparency is a myth. Then Elio is not the only company hurting where they stop updating SEC filings. Many do and many can get away with it for 4-5 years. Without them, then the stock price goes down. Everyone is hurting.

What I'm looking at is some sort of communication is better and nothing. We need to get over the SEC filing thing because we know they are done with that. What we need to do is figure out something that can gain interest in the company. As of now, the interest in Elio Motors is really low. It's almost to the point where Arcimoto is now challenging Elio for interest.

Even a 1980's one hit wonder kids toy is beating out Elio motors:

This is where some sort of communication for Elio will help. It might not be the perfection that some desire but something is better than nothing. Since Paul has to have this site bookmarked as it's the only thing left outside their FB page or a few FB pages that are pretty much defunct, then he has to see what's going on. He is a human being that's living in the internet age. Sending emails through the corporate site is netting no results, so you have to go another way. Go where he looks every day.

Found Paul! Now go ask him if he's got time for all that. You don't see a laptop or even a phone in close proximity do you? :D

SEC regulations were put in place to protect investors....

Shareholder meetings...quarterly reporting...and conference calls ensure that investors can evaluate the health of a public company...

That’s the kind of transparency I expect from any successful company...

I’m looking for honesty from Paul...I really don’t care whether it’s good or bad news...but I do expect truthful updates from Paul regarding the current business affairs at Elio Motors...

Honesty and integrity are the hallmarks of a successful CEO and business leader....

If they were then you need to complain about the SEC then. According to the rules, Elio should have been yanked off the exchange. That goes for many other companies too. Same thing when it comes to property taxes. If you are late, then all of your property needs to be seized by the county, state or federal right away and then sold off. Do they do that? Not that I know of, typically you got over 2 years to pay just enough to keep it from happening in 6 months. Your problem is with the SEC and not Elio Motors. Contact the SEC and let them know what Elio motors is doing. Let me know how that works out for you. I bet come 2025 you'll see them act upon it.

So, you are comparing successful companies like GM against a struggling startup like Elio. Those are two different animals. GM is completely transparent on everything as they have never covered anything up and lied to shareholder by withholding information. Same for Tesla. All on the up and up. Never a problem, ever. Those are exceptions to the rules but if you look at struggling startups, what Elio is doing is quite common. Go into mining of rare minerals, biomed or pharm. They are littered with companies that make Elio Motors look like a saint.

If you really want to see it working in action, then that guy I used to think was legit back in the 80's is still messing around with flying cars today and his stock just got yanked a while back. That was after 4 years of no SEC filings and it being sub penny stock. The company has never had a product, no revenue and the guy now is banking everything on some ancient GM rotary motor. His trump card is that he has a "vault" of proprietary information that he will release soon. Just look up "Moller International" and you'll see. I met this guy back in the 90's and he was looking for investors (which is what he was doing back in the 80's). He's supposedly legit because he started and sold Supertrapp. So he must be fine as a businessman. I figured this would be a good example because biomed or pharm are not car related and thus boring.

You're kidding about GM, of course. Pretty shady how they alighned the pensions with AC Delco and then spun AC Delco off as a separate company which then immediately filed for bankruptcy which then, of course, let us taxpayers pick up the tab. I'm pretty sure they did not disclose THAT plan before implementing it.
