Trust me, I asked Elio about this twice and they assured me that the test was going to come out. If soon means more than three years, then I guess they are safe. It's no different than the tube frame chassis and plastic body.
Trust me, I don't think it matters now even if I believe Paul Elio still plans on releasing the results of their IAV test after all these years (2015- ). EM are now shopping for a new engine and still in funding mode.

Roush has been working for Elio for almost three years. So it's getting to be old news. The only new news is that Elio has decided to stop using their own in house engine and just called up their Blue Chip Supplier and told them to put an existing engine in it.

Rousch has been working for EM for almost 3 years? Curious question after reading your link. It states that EM has decided to bring Rousch on board as a partner along with the rest of their world class partners, but can you link that Rousch has actually contracted and accomplished engineering work for EM, or is Rousch waiting on EM’s funding like all the other partners? EM has a list of Partners, but none are contracted and being paid to do work and or supply component parts. The last contract i can find is with IAV and IAV had a $1.5 Million overdue, unpaid balance for EM’s engine development and bench testing back in 2015-16.

It is a MOU, so it is not a contract. Kind of like a verbal agreement.

If it's a MOU, it's like a handshake agreement to do future contract work. Then it's apparent Rousch hasn't done any engineering work for EM and waiting on funding to do so.

In this time and age. A verbal agreement have no chance in court if the parties envolved decided not to honor it.
That's what I said, an MOU (memorandum of understanding) is not a contract, which mean, there is no obligation for them to make an engine for Elio.

Roush was contracted for engineering work. That's what they do. So finding proof that they redesigned a widget on the car is impossible. I do know this. Elio raised $16M in Reg A+. Right after that, Roush is announced at an engineering supplier. After that, Elio gets a new body and chassis along with suspension changes (which you can see if you look). Doesn't it seem to be a coincidence that all of that happened that way?

As for now, the MoU is with the powertrain manufacturer, not Roush. Roush is only there to see what will work and what will not. Then do exploratory work to determine what it will take to put that powertrain in the car. If you notice, Elio gets $2.5M and a few months later this MoU is announced. A coincidence? I think not.

After this, Roush will then fit the new engine and do testing to make sure it works. That will not happen until Elio raises more money. As Paul has said in the past about the money that they get, they burn through it right away. I bet that $2.5M was gone in about a month. Also, Roush works for money. No money, no work. They do not feel sorry for Elio. It's just all business. Plus Roush would not allow Elio to use their name unless they were getting paid and doing actual work.
