I haven't seen anyone post a chart in a while, so I decided to make one myself. This contains every data point I could find from here, and some additional very early data points from another forum. I set the start data as Jan 3, 2013, which I believe is when the first reservations were taken.

It's available as an interactive Google Chart that let's you hover over data points to get the exact data. Here's the URL:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...quX8/pubchart?oid=46872278&format=interactive

The raw data in spreadsheet form is available via Google Docs, here:

While researching this data, I ran across some quotes that are really funny, in hindsight:

August 28th, 2014, just as the rapid upswing was hitting it's peak before leveling out:
http://elioowners.com/threads/reservations-55-021-as-of-jun-27-2016.539/page-66#post-40424
"By the end of Dec. 2014, we should be at or near 59,248 reservations."

This is from a few days later. Apparently there was a theory that there was a finite number of reservations available.

"...at this rate I'm betting the reservations will be gone before Christmas."
Looks like Elio is in a nice little upswing in reservations. New ATVM loans are overdue (who is more deserving) after 6 years without a single loan being given. DOE needs Elio to just prove 75 mpg highway, easy. This should be an issue for all political persuasions!!! 55,200 plus and counting at 6.5 percent brand recognition is a movement!!! And we vote for politicians that support Elio and USA jobs!!! Elio autocycles and engines in marine and industrial uses can help solve climate change, mobility issues, trade deficit imbalance, etc.

Reservations per day have been jumping back and forth between ~20 and ~30 for the past year, with a very slight upward trend. No reason to suspect that this is anything other than business as usual.

Graph of the most recent data is here:

That's an extraordinarily straight line -- very steady growth. Be nice to see the rate kick up some -- maybe getting those test results would do it.

I would think that once Paul Elio decides to allow Canadians to Reserve their Elios the trend for more Reservations pet day would increase.

Since most Canadians pay at least 40% more for gasoline, the demand for a vehicle that can offer 75 MPG or higher would be in huge demand.

Most vehicles in Canada as in the USA only have 1 or 2 people onboard so the Elio would be a great seller in Canada at a price of under $10,000 CND

In Canada, an importer can easily (compared to the US) make a volume fleet purchase and handle the import / licensing issues for themselves. That likely won't appear until production has started and the popularity is a common perception.

The two biggest issues seems to be Anti-Theft and day-time running lights. Both of those are easily accommodated. But I have no idea about helmet and MC endorsement issues.

I think you mean "3.8 liters per 100km or higher". At least that is the metric way of measuring that in Europe.
I still prefer mpg.

Could never figure out why tgey decided to use l/100k or liters oer 100km.

K/L or Kilometers per liter, makes a lot more sense.

Heck why stop there...... why are they using liters for Engine displacement instead of CCs.

Would be nice if all of these measurements could be standardized. So as to avoid any confusion
