If I'm not mistaken some of those were turbo charged. With no computers to control them, they were short lived.

The reason I bought my SVX was to rip the engine out of it for my '73 Porsche 914, but the more I drove it the better I liked it. Ended up buying a spare 3.3L for the Porsche. If you're ever going to do a Suby/VW conversion, this is the place that knows their stuff.
