been there, done that .... they are interesting, unique little boats .... they can be difficult to get into the water and unless you have clean, paved ramp their Porta-dolly is useless .... we found that you really need to go with a motor that has the max horsepower the boat is rated for and don't take anything with your that you don't really need .... we were very happy the day ours was sold

I'm guessing a hitch receiver won't be on the option list.

It's not about what any vehicle can pull, it's how much it can safely maneuver and stop.
EM has already stated: towing anything with the Elio will void the warranty.
So either wait the 3 years, or forget the warranty and do as you please with it.

Once the front wheels are off the ground, I don't see where towing it would be any type of problem.
Just get one of these and you're all set.
