jc whitney used to sell a recordable horn -but knowing my friends ,they'd record fart noises or funny voices saying cuss words or farm animal sounds. ahhhh -fart noises--hilarious!!!!!

I live in a college town. Based on past experience after fitting my Miata with Fiamm air horns, it's the ONLY way to go when dealing with "texting while crossing" students. You hit the air horn, and you don't even see their knees flex but they're back on the curb!

Oh, and a horn relay is mandatory. This thing draws 17 amps!

careful guys, on those little cars there may not be a horn relay, in which case you'll need one before putting bigger horns in the place of the little ones. If you do a direct swap of horns the wiring and switch might not be adequate. You'll probably get away with it for a short time, but sooner or later something in the circuit will blow or melt. Gooey cheese is tastey, but gooey wiring is a fire hazard for cars. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

The other thing that can happen, the horns fight each other for power. When that happens it sound weird and dysfunctional at the same time. Make sure you have a very good path to power.

I'd like a 130db blood curdling scream for a horn. Or maybe I'll just add a microphone in the cockpit...same effect if someone pulls out in front of me driving my Elio.
