As a strong (Now prior)advocate for yellow, I get off here- Whatever the red it's got me!!! From day one when I saw the E online, I thought 20k, within 1 hour- didn't give a rat's behind milage. speed- 50+ years of biking, this is just what this body needed- I was all in, now it looks like a 25k machine!! the nose is perfect, more than I even allowed myself to visualize (then again I didn't envision the notice from her lawyer, when my dream 'vette began to slip away)
A beautiful day in Elio World!!!, they opened the 7 day window for the IPO, it won't be easy, but the kids will have to get coal in their socks this year!!

Coal in their socks? Bad New Grandpa! lol. You could give the kids a promissory note that provides them a % share of your EM stock when you cash it out sometime in the future.

I remember reading somewhere that they were going to use a regular automotive battery.

I'm pretty sure but I have a couple of thoughts:

1. The hood support is the bar that bends around the brake fluid jugs at the back of the hood opening.
2. There is no hood release.(I hope they put an unlatch lever under the dash somewhere though.
3. One option will be chrome suspension pieces... Or maybe cast aluminum.
4. That P5 looks really good.

I think what I was taking for a coolant expansion tank (and others have thought was the windshield washer), is actually the battery. What looked like a blue water tube in other pix turns out to be a battery cable. One mystery solved, and another one deepens!

Nope that's still the expansion tank. You can clearly read the cap in the picture and the blue hose has clamps on either end.

I guess the longer I have to wait , my color selection changes in kind . I was ready for a black Elio and now ......If the production paint job is as good as the P5 pictures , Red has bumped to the top .

Nope that's still the expansion tank. You can clearly read the cap in the picture and the blue hose has clamps on either end.

Mystery solved. The battery appears to be UNDER the expansion tank (yes, it is an expansion tank, I searched the part number on the cap and it's from a ford focus). You can just see the disconnected battery clamp under the tank. Jerome sent me this pic, and I didn't look closely enough.

Seriously considering it. I like some of Silas Sundays virtual designs......

Most of his are just too busy for my tastes. I'm thinking we're going to see some real imaginative stuff. Mainly because it will be an "everbody's" car (cycle) with a little cash left over to personalize.
