I had the front grille stolen from my '03 Mustang while it sat in our Wal-mart parking lot.
The thief or thieves had to have been pretty good mechanics with just the right tools.
They also had must have been flexible and had to have spent at least ten minutes at the vehicle.
Four hard to reach hidden screws and Four hard to reach hidden bolts out without the hood released.
They only left a few small scratches where they pried the grille/bumper outward to get at the lower bolts.
Totally clean job. They took all the screws, bolts and fastenters too.

Knowing my own temperment and tolerance for thieves, I'd say they had a lot of jazz and were lucky.

Hearing that makes me appreciate where I live that much more.
People around here leave their garage doors open when their "just doing a quick run to the store". The kids leave bikes and scooters laying around on lawns and sidewalks, and no one touches them. I don't think half the people around here even lock their doors; I know a lot of them leave cars running in front of the house in the winter to warm up. But that's around the neighborhood.

Hey!, if I knew it all I wouldn't be here! I've searched but am still not clear about the fender and rear end. P3 and P4, which is which? Here's a pic of the car I hope to have. Right color, fenders and rear end. So, am I going to be able to get it, or be disappointed? You knowledge would be appreciated.

P4 is the one in your avatar (orange), the P3's the silver one you posted.

Good picture, where was it taken?

I believe they have also gone to a narrower tire to help rolling resistance and help reach the 84mpg goal.
The front fenders on the P4 were designed for aerodynamics, again to help reach the mileage goal.

Thank you guys for answering. So, I guess I like P3 fenders and rear end. Anyone know if the car will be available with them?

Nope, Just the 3rd iteration of the Elio (prototype). On the plus side, there's going to be a ton of aftermarket ideas for fenders and body kits to make it look about any way that turns your crank. ;)

I want back on Google and found the pic. All it said was it was from the "Grand Rapids Press".
