In boating the autopilot is usually tied to the GPS, I watched a big dollar boat crash right into a 1/4 mile long rock jetty, because the "operator" of the boat just trusted his tech. and ignored his reality.

I usually print out a google map if I,m going somewhere new . I hate it when I'm using the GPS and I look at it and it shows me driving off road through a field .

Keep your software UP TO DATE, and that will RARELY, if ever, anymore be a problem.
