There are sensible reasons for making cruise control standard. If enough people want it, then there comes a point where it is more economical to put it on ALL of them at the factory, rather than individually installing it at the marshalling centers. Economies of scale, and all that jazz

Valid points IF there were not a fixed target point ($6800). Because they will not want to loose face by drifting to far from this target, they will short some other feature to provide this.

they have said for a long time that they were going to use a Camaro steering wheel .... on our daughter's 2015 and my wife's 2016 Camaros the controls for the cruise are on the steering wheel .... by the way, they also have the same capless fuel fill port and it is on the right (passenger's) side
