Oh LOOK, there's an Elio!

Goodness gracious, there's another, it's a pair of them!

(As a third, fourth, and fifth Elio round the bend) Oh my gosh it's a ______ of Elios!!!!

If we were looking at horses, it'd be a herd. If aardvarks, an aarmory. If peacocks, a muster.
The generic for birds tends to be flocks, but eagles are an aerie or convocation, ducks on the pond are a paddling or raft, there's a bevy of doves, a gaggle of geese, or even a murder of crows.
Some of my other favorites are a school of fish, a horde of rats, a passle of possums, a mob of emus, a scurry of squirrels, a weyr of dragons, a crash of rhinos, and a warren of wombats. Just to name a few!

SO, just what the heck is it called when Elios congregate?!? o_O

I Vote for a hoot or a hootch.

The Elio reminds me much more of a fighter jet, or Star Wars X-wing fighter, or a just plain UFO, so collective animal nouns just don't seem that appropriate.

We can go on "Flights" with our "Squadron" and meet for a "Group" or "Wing" rally, kinda like the Air Force. We could be pilots in the Elio Force!

What most people don't realize (and why would you if you didn't grow up in Iowa like me?!) is Convoy actually began as a series of commercials for Old Home Bread and went viral, as viral as it could in the mid-70's - C.W. McCall, Sloan his dog, and Mavis the waitress at the Old Home Fill-Er Up An' Keep On A-Truckin' Café.

What about a "cloud of elios" (that is the collective noun for tadpoles) or the best one used for frogs, an army.

I've search the forum and have found no reference to this...

If you say Elios in the Greek language you are saying SUN.

There is also an Elios Society, and they've already designated their multitude. "The Elios Society, a company of friends for Hellenic Heritage."

Since the Elio will allow me to be a 'Biker' for the first time in my 67 years...........I'm downloading these Best Biker Songs to my iPod and blasting them through my Elio's premium sound system while riding in the Pack.

As I'm sure you know, many of these songs were used in the comedic biker movie, "Wild Hogs."

Just a few thoughts,

I believe in the long run, it will be a " Pack of Elio's "... and In my case, I will be from the " Oregon Pack "...

But... I also like " Pride of Elio's "... So I would be from the " Oregon Pride "...

Of course each Elio could have a mark or symbol of which... Pride/Pack/State you are from...

The symbols could be voted on at your State Pride/Pack club meetings or rally's...

I am sure there are going to be State wide Elio rally's, they should be going on in every State in the next few years...

In my younger years when I rode motorcycles a lot, I must say I " liked " the " Wave " you would get when you saw another person on a motorcycle going by...

I have hope that the " Wave " will still happen when I start seeing new Elio's on the road....

So if you see a Marshmallow with Sour Apple stripes on a Elio, going down the street with a guy waving to you with a smile on his face...

That will be Me!! See ya on the Road!!

Rest assured, the "Wave" WILL be happening. I have a friend who went directly to his car dealer and ordered two PT Cruisers after seeing them for the first time at the Auto Show. For the first year hand waving with fellow owners was the norm.

The last I heard, Paul Elio said it would be called the Elio. As usual I can't remember where or when but when he said it it stuck in my mind. Z

I recall Paul Elio commenting that: He wanted to start an Elio car COMPANY since he was a young child, and that Elio Motors hadn't yet determined what the model would be called, since they were going to make this decision with some care.
