Where I would get you in trouble is if I told you that Elio signed a contract with the Arabs for a $500M investment and that the news will be released soon and thus you need to buy now. The SEC does not have a cheerleader gag order. If they did, this site would have been shut down in 2016.

I don't understand why the Arabs did not jump on the Elio as an investment. The same people who are interested in a very small gas burner to save fuel will buy an electric vehicle if an Elio is not available. An investment in Elio would show that their hearts are in the right place, would help keep fossil fuels in demand, and might even prove to be a good investment. The amount it would take to get Elio into production would be chicken feed to a consortium of Arab oil sheiks.
I have a hunch as to why the oil money did not happen. It is the same reason that 10s of thousands of Sturgis goers did not see the Elio and why Mother Earth fair attendees did not see the Elio either. I am sure that you can figure it out
The Arabs invested in Atlis and they are increasingly investing in businesses that are not oil related. It's more to diversify their holdings which is a smart move.

why would "arabs" invest in a vehicle that would reduce oil consumption//
Why would "arabs" even consider such a small project.
They have more important investments to track as they ride around in their RR

Holding up quite well considering. Sooner or later there will be a massive sell off turning it into a penny stock
I wouldn't worry too much about a massive sell-off. The stock has gone from 40 to 15 to 5 to 2 and is now at $1.30. The massive sell-off has already taken place.
ELIO has been a penny stock for some time now.

from https://www.investopedia.com/terms/p/pennystock.asp:

What Is a Penny Stock?

A penny stock refers to a small company's stock that typically trades for less than $5 per share. Although some penny stocks trade on large exchanges such as the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), most penny stocks trade via over the counter (OTC) transactions.

Transactions take place through the electronic OTC Bulletin Board (OTCBB) or through the privately-owned Pink Sheets. There is no trading floor for OTC transactions, and the quotations are also all done electronically.

All Venture Capitalists, regardless of nationality, have RR’s or other expensive cars parked in their garages. The primary reason they are successful, is they are not inclined to invest in poor track record high risk vehicle startups or risky startups in general. I was hoping for an Elio (cheap) and a Tesla Model X (not affordable) parked in my garage, but have settled on the reasonably affordable Arcimoto FUV as it checks most of my “&” vehicle needs.

Elio stock closed at $1.26 today.
FUV stock closed at $2.88 today.
SOLO stock closed at $2.53 today.

Hopefully the three wheeler market can turn it around and reward the investors for having faith in them.

I prefer to look at retail deliveries as rewarding the long time supporters and reservationists. The investors were/are aware of the high risk. Retail deliveries should spike the Elio, $FUV, and SOLO market prices.
